IFEES - The International Federation of Engineering Education Societies
IFEES was founded in 2006, at the American Society for Engineering Education's Global Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Engineering education leaders from around the world had gathered the previous year to explore the possibilities of creating an international organization for engineering education societies. IFEES is proud to be leading the effort in connecting the world's engineering education societies and leveraging the members' collective strengths in order to improve engineering education worldwide. IFEES members represent diversity not only in cultures, but in engineering education interests, from quality assurance to engineering education, from pedagogy to the role of technology in the classroom. IFEES member societies are expanding their global reach, and new relationships and collaborations are created all the time through IFEES' global network.

Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI)
Formed by a group of senior educationists, educational entrepreneurs, intellectuals, industry leaders and policy makers in 2005, Education Promotion Society for India (EPSI) has assumed a catalytic role in promoting the quality of Indian higher education in the areas of engineering, design, medical consultation, legal services, human resource development . With a huge membership of around 10000 members, The society coordinates between Government, institutes, academia , industry , student community, beneficiary employers and the national and international bodies committed to the advancement of education. While working towards maintaining the quality of research in higher education, EPSI facilitates globally competitive education, and generate skills and professionals for employment so as to foster socioeconomic development.
Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE)
Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) was conceptualized by over 150 leaders of engineering education and businesses from US and India in 2007 is one of the founder members of IFEES (International Federation for Engineering Education Societies). Vision of IUCEE is to improve the quality and global relevance of engineering education and research in India with related benefits to engineering educators around the world. The major focus is on faculty development, student development, curriculum development, as well as improved teaching technologies & engineering education research. An ecosystem has been built with the help of global experts from around the world. This ecosystem includes face-to-face workshops, webinars and courses in a blended format for faculty development, international conferences, a peer-reviewed journal for engineering education, a certification program as well as networking opportunities between engineering educators and students from India and the IFEES global community.
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT)
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a progressive educational institution dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in Engineering and Technology. VIT was founded in 1984 by Dr. G. Viswanathan, a former parliamentarian and minister in Government of Tamilnadu. . VIT currently offers 80 degree programmes to over 35,000 students across 4 campuses at Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati. A reputation of excellence in research supported by a high calibre staff is reflected in the demand for entry to VIT's programmes from high achieving students. VIT is committed to the development of innovative technologies for sustainability and maintains its relevance to world-class Engineering education linking industry and business through research networks across the globe.

VIT has risen to the expectations of Government organizations, research institutions, mission critical organizations like Defence establishments, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Atomic Research Centres. It has secured research funding for over 100 projects to the tune of INR 100 million. VIT also offers consultancy services worth more than INR 2.2 million including Defence Research and Development Laboratory.

VIT's research strength spans over diverse disciplines like CAD/CAM, Rapid Prototyping, Manufacturing, Product Design, Energy, Biomedical Research, Information Technology, Nanotechnology, Optoelectronics, Intelligent Systems and Materials Engineering. It also expands to research in basic sciences, applied sciences and biosciences. Emerging fields and key hi-tech disciplines of the future are focused on. It encourages its researchers to participate in a wide range of international research collaborations. VIT's extensive network creates unique opportunities for conducting and supporting research, particularly in inter- and multi-disciplinary areas.

VIT has nurtured the vision to evolve as an institution with international character. VIT has signed over 200 MoUs' with International Universities and Institutes of high repute to collaborate in research and academic activities. A full-fledged International Relations Office has been established to help in the internationalization efforts. VIT has International Students from over 40 countries pursuing various degree programmes. VIT assists foreign students and facilitates their social and cultural integration. Also, many International Conferences and exchange programmes happen often at VIT for which foreign delegates visit in large numbers.
SCALE
SCALE is a student organization in partnership with IUCEE. The primary agenda of SCALE is to achieve a strong and potential student network, where students all over the country can collaborate and contribute towards engineering education and development while carrying forward the ethos of the organization, conduct and implement student-oriented workshops, establish a strong collaboration with industries and provide a sustainable support to the student community. SCALE also envisages to partner with both established and potential industry collaborators, to work simultaneously with the students, providing them with hands-on technical and industrial support wherever needed.
SPEED - Student Platform for Engineering Education Development
SPEED (Student Platform for Engineering Education Development) is a global, non-profit student organization that functions as an interdisciplinary network of engineering students, who aspire to provide opinion and create an impact on future development of engineering education and its effect on society and environment. SPEED was founded by student participants of the 1st Global Student Forum (GSF) in October 2006 during the 5th Global Colloquium on Engineering Education (GCEE), organised by the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. SPEED strives to empower students to become a factor of change in EE by providing them with the skills, knowledge and resources necessary to become a global engineer and show them how they can think globally and act locally. Through engineering education initiatives and collaboration with academia, industry, society and government, SPEED is committed to improving the future of engineering education whilst embracing the considerable engineering challenges being faced in the 21st century.
